Inspired by the beauty of traditional kitchen gardens, from root to plate. Vegetables for the range were all hand drawn, capturing the perfectly, imperfect nature of a home grown harvest. I enjoy growing fruits and vegetables from seed and these designs were made to capture the beauty and reward of home-grown food in full form and in nature’s colours.
There are two varieties in this range - vegetable rows represent the neat lines and spacing of early cultivation and the allover pattern mimics the abundance of harvest. As with the fruit collection, the vegetable range is a reminder of the beautiful link between nature, nourishment and the home.
